After cryptically teasing it last week on ESPN’s SportsCenter, Drake confirmed this morning that his long-awaited new album, Certified Lover Boy, is just over the horizon. The rapper posted an image of twelve expectant moms on Instagram along with the all-caps message “CERTIFIED LOVER BOY SEPTEMBER 3.”

And though that street date seemed to release the air from the hype balloon that was building over a possible first-week chart battle between the rapper and Kanye West – who surprise released his long-delayed DONDA album over the weekend – it was still welcome news for the Drake nation. Last week, Drake seemed to hint that CLB was imminent on ESPN’s flagship program SportsCenter, sneaking in an image of a fan holding up a sign reading “CLB September 3” in-between baseball highlights.

In July, Drake announced during his appearance on Fri Yiy Friday (a Sirius XM radio

Drake Confirms ‘Certified Lover Boy’ Release Date

Following last week’s cryptic commercial during ESPN‘s SportsCenter, Drake has confirmed his long-teased, upcoming album Certified Lover Boy‘s release date.

CERTIFIED LOVER BOY SEPTEMBER 3,” he wrote under an image of several “Pregnant Woman” emojis via Instagram on Monday morning.

The formal announcement arrives days after the Six God interrupted ESPN’s SportsCenter program with a glitchy advertisement mimicking a broadcast hack. In the commercial, a piece of cardboard flashed before the screen fronting a handwritten message: “CLB September 3.”

The official SportsCenter Twitter account spoke out about the takeover, writing, “We want to apologize for any interruptions viewers might have experienced during SportsCenter this morning. We had some technical difficulties that have since been resolved.”

Mets President Slams Players For ‘Totally Unacceptable’ Behavior Toward Fans

New York Mets President Sandy Alderson made his disapproval known after players on the team gave fans a thumbs-down during a game on Sunday, calling the behavior “totally unacceptable.”

Slumping infielder Javy Baez said he and other players used the gesture to “boo” back fans who haven’t been supportive enough of the struggling team.

Baez claimed that jeers from the crowd don’t bother him, but said he and his teammates are returning the gesture all the same “to let them know how it feels,” according to ESPN.

“They’ve got to do better,” Baez said of the fans, adding that they’re putting more pressure on the team with their boos.

But Mets management wasn’t amused.

“These comments, and any gestures by him or other players with a similar intent, are totally unacceptable and will not be tolerated,” Alderson said in a statement, adding that “booing is every fan’s
