Video Shows Dan Campbell’s Reaction To Lions’ First Win
It’s impossible to look at this video and say Dan Campbell doesn’t care deeply about this win. The Lions video team caught the head coach’s immediate reaction to Detroit’s first win of the season in the final seconds.
It’s great to see Campbell’s Lions finally get a win this season. The first-year head coach did a great job of keeping the team together through some tough breaks throughout the year.
Week-in and week-out the Lions show up to play and they play hard. Now the team has at least victory to show for it.
All things considered, Detroit got one of its better performances from quarterback Jared Goff. The former No. 1 overall pick finished 25-41 for 296 yards and three touchdowns. Though he did turn the ball over twice.
The offense also made up for the absence of D’Andre Swift with a solid committee approach. Running back Jamaal Williams led the way with 17 carries for 71 yards but team was able to churn out 100 yards on the ground as a whole.
Coming into the week, Dan Campbell said he wanted the Lions to play “spoiler” for the rest of the teams on schedule. Sunday was a good start. The Lions really put a damper on the Minnesota Vikings playoff hopes, dropping to 5-7 after the loss.
