Taking down the No. 1-ranked, undefeated Georgia Bulldogs, No. 3 Alabama stunned the college football world with a 41-24 blowout win in today’s SEC Championship game.

“Upset” is not exactly a word in the Crimson Tide’s vocabulary — except for today. As 6.5-point underdogs heading into the matchup, Nick Saban’s squad wasn’t favored for the first time in 92 straight contests.

Overcoming the odds, Alabama made relatively light work of a Georgia team that dominated through the entirety of the 2021 regular season.

The college football world took to Twitter with their reactions to this upset victory.

This victory for the Crimson Tide came in large part due to the potentially Heisman-clinching performance for Bama quarterback Bryce Young. Throwing 26/44, the star signal caller collected 421 yards, three touchdowns and zero interceptions through the air. He also took to

In a season full of upsets, the craziest of them all just took place moments ago.

The Kansas Jayhawks, with their backs against the wall, shocked the Texas Longhorns in overtime 57-56 in Austin Saturday night.

Texas took the early 56-49 overtime lead, meaning Kansas needed to respond with a touchdown and extra point to send it to a second overtime. Lance Leipold had other plans in mind.

After scoring a touchdown to pull within a point, Leipold elected to go for two. The gamble paid off. Kansas quarterback Jalon Daniels found an open man in the end-zone for the walk-off two-point conversion.

Rock Chalk, Jayhawks.

What a win for a Kansas program at the lowest of lows over the past decade. Somehow, Texas might be even lower at this point.

The Longhorns have now lost their fifth straight game.

The college football world reacts to Kansas’ stunning 57-56 overtime upset at Texas

Kansas football took down Texas, 57-56, in overtime on Saturday.

Yes, you read that correctly.

And this was a football game, to be clear.

Saturday marked Kansas’ first Big 12 win since 2008 against Iowa State, and it sure was a game to remember.

Kansas led by multiple touchdowns through much of the second half before allowing a game-tying touchdown in the final minutes, which sent the game to overtime at 49-all.

Texas started with the ball in overtime and quickly scored a touchdown, taking a 56-49 lead. After a Kansas touchdown made the score 56-55, Jayhawks coach Lance Leipold opted to play it aggressive and go for the win rather than a tying extra point. Kansas quarterback Jalon Daniels scrambled and found Jared Casey in the end zone for the winning two-point conversion.

A wild Saturday of college football culminated with Texas A&M shocking Alabama in College Station. The loss was the first for the Tide in nearly two years.

It was an atypical performance for a Nick Saban team. The Crimson Tide, who were favored by three touchdowns, fell behind 24-10 and even after battling back to take a 38-31 lead, surrendered 10 unanswered points in the final five minutes to lose 41-38.

This morning, ESPN radio host Paul Finebaum appeared on SportsCenter and broke down the shocking defeat. He criticized Alabama for getting beat up in the trenches, and also called out the decision to throw three times from the 3-yard-line when they were down 31-27 in the fourth quarter.

“I was concerned about the fact that Alabama was dominated on both lines of scrimmage,” Finebaum said, via Saturday Down South. “I haven’t seen
