Neil Everett joins Blazers broadcasts as a studio host

ESPN anchor Neil Everett is joining Portland Trail Blazers broadcasts on a part-time basis.

The Blazers announced the news on Monday, also posting an interview with Everett. The interview notes that he’ll continue to host his late night edition of SportsCenter, which seemed like a given since he just got a new contract this summer.

Everett revealed that the new contract lets him work less, opening up more time roles like his new one with Portland.

ESPN+ Adds Rebooted ‘SportsNation’, Stephen A. Smith Show In Studio Streaming Push

A reconceived SportsNation and a half-hour show from popular opinion host Stephen A. Smith are heading to ESPN+ as the growing streaming service adds more episodes of studio fare.

Both shows are slated to premiere Monday exclusively on January 11. SportsNation will hit the streaming service every weekday at 9:30AM ET and then be available on demand. Stephen A’s World will have nighttime premieres on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
