Georgia Dominated Michigan To Set Up Title Game Rematch

It’s official: The honor of being named college football‘s national champions will be determined in a rematch. After Alabama blew out Cincinnati earlier on New Year’s Eve in the Cotton Bowl to earn a spot in the College Football Playoff title game, Georgia put on a show in the evening at the Orange Bowl, blowing out the Big Ten champion Michigan Wolverines to put themselves in position to get a measure of revenge for their SEC championship game loss to the Crimson Tide earlier this year.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are this season’s most surprising success story, and Ricky Rubio is a major part of what they’re doing. If he has suffered a serious knee injury, which unfortunately is a real possibility, it would be a major blow to Cleveland, which currently sits as the East’s No. 5 seed with the league’s fourth-best point differential.

In the closing minutes of of Cleveland’s 108-104 loss to the Pelicans on Tuesday, Rubio appeared to slip, and subsequenrtly his left knee gave out when he planted as he was driving through the paint.

He went down in clear pain and grabbed at his knee immediately.

Rubio was helped to the locker room by teammates and was not putting any weight on his knee. He was seen leaving the arena on crutches, per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowksi, who reported that Rubio will have an MRI on Wednesday.

Sarah Fuller, who became the first woman to play for a Power 5 college football team last weekend, is set to continue her career with Vanderbilt.

The 21-year-old took on kickoff duties for the Commodores last weekend after several members of the team were ruled out due to Covid-19 protocols. On Tuesday, Vanderbilt interim coach Todd Fitch said Fuller has been practicing again this week and will travel to Saturday’s game against one of the biggest teams in college football, Georgia.

“She’ll be with us on the trip to Georgia and we’re going to put the best people out there,” he said. “If she’s our best option we’ll continue with her and we’ll do the best we can for the team.”

When Fuller made her debut for Vanderbilt, she became just the third woman to compete in the FBS, the highest level of college football. The other two
