Some within the NFL reportedly believe the Green Bay Packers may soon shift their focus from getting quarterback Aaron Rodgers to return to the team to signing wide receiver Davante Adams to a new contract.

Appearing Saturday morning on SportsCenter, ESPN NFL insider Jeremy Fowler said some of those he spoke with wondered if the Packers will “pivot” to Adams since a wideout of his caliber could command anywhere from $25 million to $30 million per season.

One source told Fowler they would do “everything possible” to keep Adams long-term regardless of whether Rodgers or Jordan Love is the starting quarterback moving forward.

Adams is set to enter the final year of his contract in 2021, and he is due for a big raise from the $12.25 million in base salary he is scheduled to earn.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported in April that Rodgers informed some

While the Las Vegas Raiders are reportedly “happy” with Derek Carr as their starting quarterback, Aaron Rodgers is reportedly “intrigued” by the idea of playing for the franchise.

ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler said Sunday on SportsCenter that Las Vegas could be a destination for the disgruntled league MVP:

“[Aaron Rodgers] is reportedly intrigued by the Raiders as well, so they have to be on this list. They’re happy with Derek Carr; nothing’s going on right now, and they very well could extend Derek Carr sometime soon. But the Raiders look into every single quarterback situation. … They looked at past free agents or trade options. So, Jon Gruden is sort of always lurking. You can’t discount them.”

Fowler went on to say the Raiders also heavily scouted Trey Lance before the 2021 NFL draft. Lance went No. 3 overall to the San Francisco 49ers on Thursday.

The Seahawks are showing an interest in 49ers receiver Marquise Goodwin.

The Seattle Seahawks are in the market for a third wide receiver to compliment DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett. According to Bleacher Report, ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler recently detailed the Seahawks’ search on SportsCenter and noted Seattle could pry Marquise Goodwin away from the 49ers.

“Now I’m told they’re looking around for potential No. 3 receiver help behind D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett, who just signed a massive extension,” Fowler said, per Bleacher Report. “One name to watch is Marquise Goodwin. The speedster, he’s got that world-class speed. He is now a free agent. I’m told they’ve at least put a feeler out in that area.”

The Seahawks lost the team’s third wideout David Moore to the Panthers in free agency. Based on the current roster, Freddie Swain would be the favorite to be the Seahawks’ WR3 but

As the New Orleans Saints seek a long-term replacement for Drew Brees, one quarterback in the 2021 NFL draft class has reportedly caught their eye.

ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reported Saturday on SportsCenter that the Saints “like” Florida’s Kyle Trask.

The Saints currently have the 28th pick in the first round. It seems unlikely they would be able to move up far enough to select one of the top five quarterbacks in this class, especially if three of them are off the board after the first three picks are made.

ESPN’s Mel Kiper Jr. has Trask ranked as the sixth-best quarterback this year, behind Trevor Lawrence, Justin Fields, Zach Wilson, Mac Jones and Trey Lance.

In Todd McShay‘s most recent mock draft released Thursday on ESPN.com, the Chicago Bears selected Trask in the second round with the 52nd pick.

McShay notes that Trask has “great touch and
