Tim Tebow addresses Jake Paul’s challenge, rumors about move to boxing

Tim Tebow was a Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback at Florida. Then, he briefly played the position in the NFL for the Broncos. Then, he tried to pursue a baseball career with the Mets. Most recently, he attempted an NFL comeback as a tight end with the Jaguars. If nothing else, the guy deserves credit for chasing his dreams.

Unfortunately for the 34-year-old, being cut by Jacksonville brought an end to his time as a professional athlete. Wait a second — is that Jake Paul’s music?

The YouTuber-turned-boxer issued a challenge of sorts to Tebow after defeating former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley to move to 4-0 in his career.

“Aye (Tebow) I think it’s time for you to get into boxing,” Paul tweeted on Wednesday.

Before anyone could head to the tale of the tape, though, Tebow shut down the speculation about his

The offseason conversation in Chicago has been dominated by Lonzo Ball and a potential deal to bring him to the Bulls, but what is the likelihood the current New Orleans Pelican actually suits up in the Windy City next season?

Who will be there if and or when he arrives?

Two new reports shed some light on both of those topics.

Lonzo to Bulls Barring “Major Hiccup”

Yahoo Sports’ Chris Haynes (h/t ABC-7’s Mark Schanowksi) reported on NBA TV’s Free Agency Special that unless there is a “major hiccup” in negotiations, Ball is expected to work out a deal to become a member of the Bulls.

Bleacher Report’s Jake Fischer reported a deal between the two worth four years, $80 million has drawn mutual interest.

Ball recorded his best field goal (41.4), three-point (37.8) and free throw (78.1) percentages last season, and though his stats

There continues to be a lot of speculation about the future of Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson.

Watson is currently under investigation after more than a dozen women accused the star quarterback of sexual misconduct. It’s unclear what type of punishment Watson could be facing from the NFL. However, the star quarterback is currently preparing to play this season.

If he does play, will it be with the Texans?

The All-Pro quarterback is rumored to want out of Houston. Several teams have been mentioned as possible destinations, though one stands out for ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter.

“There is no team out there, no team out there, better positioned and better armed to go trade for Deshaun Watson than the Philadelphia Eagles,” he said.

Eagles fans are understandably intrigued by the idea. Philadelphia currently has second-year quarterback

It appears as though Chicago Bears wide receiver Allen Robinson is down to two options: Play the 2021 season under the $17.8 million franchise tag or hold out.

According to the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the Bears and Robinson “are not expected to reach a long-term extension.”

On Sunday, ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler predicted during an appearance on SportsCenter that Robinson would play out this season on the tag (h/t Alex Seats of 247Sports.com):

“Talks have been pretty slow. There’s a decent chance he plays this year out on the tag, They’re going to leave the door open for talks in the final days and hours and sort of hope for the best, but there simply has not been much momentum. I’m told Robinson is ready to try to put up big numbers this year and try to smash free agency in 2022. He’s
