Damien Harris didn’t have a spectacular performance in Week 1 of the young NFL season, only mustering up 62 yards on 16 carries. He also recorded his first career fumble in his NFL debut.
This past Sunday against the Dolphins, however, he would not make the same mistake. Harris managed to reach the century mark for the first time, of many to come, in his short NFL career, rushing for 100 yards on 23 totes. While he couldn’t find the end zone, the impact he had was apparent in a 17-16 win for the New England Patriots.
In an interview with SportsCenter on ESPN, Harris was asked about how his time at Alabama prepared him for play at the next level, and here is what he had to say:
