Will Aaron Rodgers report to Green Bay Packers training camp?

The future of Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers remains an unknown, but the clock is ticking as a July 27 report date for training camp inches closer. Saturday morning on ESPN’s SportsCenter, senior NFL reporter Jeremy Fowler shared an update regarding whether or not Rodgers’ will show up when the Packers kick things off.

“Asking around the league and some people who talked to coaches and people in the Green Bay building, there’s no uniform feeling as to whether Rodgers will report,” Fowler said. “Some are hopeful that he’ll show up and others believe that it’s just going to bleed well into August and maybe even Week 1. We’ve entered the second week of July and the situation between Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers remains the same as it was several months ago: A complete standoff.

But a new report suggests that the Packers aren’t exactly confident that things will work out in their favor. Appearing on SportsCenter, ESPN NFL insider Jeremy Fowler reported that some members of the Packers organization are “torn” over the standoff with Rodgers.

The reigning NFL MVP told Kenny Mayne on Mayne’s final “SportsCenter” in May that his issues with the organization have nothing to do with the first-round selection of quarterback Jordan Love last year.

“It’s just kind of about a philosophy and maybe forgetting that it is about the people that make the thing go. It’s about character, it’s about culture, it’s about doing things the right way,” Rodgers said then.

It’s unclear whether Rodgers, who has spent his entire 16-year career with
