After losing at home to North Carolina 91-87, Duke’s record now stands at 7-7. A team that was ranked No. 9 in the AP’s preseason poll is on a trajectory to miss the NCAA tournament for the first time since 1995.

Florida at LSU Men’s Basketball Matchup Postponed Due to COVID-19

The matchup between the Florida Gators men’s basketball team against the LSU Tigers originally scheduled for Feb. 6 has officially been postponed, the university and the SEC released in a statement today.

The reasoning for the postponement was due to a combination of positive COVID-19 tests, contact tracing and subsequent quarantining of individuals within the Florida basketball program.

The Florida at LSU men’s basketball game of February 6 has been postponed due to a combination of positive tests, contact tracing and subsequent quarantining of individuals within the Florida basketball program, consistent with Southeastern Conference COVID-19 management requirements. A make-up date has not been determined at this time.

Report: 2021 Big Ten Men’s Basketball Tournament to Be Relocated to Indianapolis | Bleacher Report

The 2021 Big Ten men’s basketball tournament will change venues from the United Center in Chicago to Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, according to Russ McQuaid of Fox 59. Play is expected to begin on March 10. 

The Big Ten women’s tournament is slated to begin a day earlier on March 9 at Indianapolis’ Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

The NCAA men’s basketball tournament will take place across Indiana the following week, using gyms in West Lafayette, Bloomington and Indianapolis in order to create more of a bubble for teams and staff participating. 

Both men’s and women’s Big Ten tournaments were held in Indianapolis last season, though the emergence of COVID-19 caused the conference to cancel men’s play after the first round.
