Northwestern wasn’t interested in tackling him today
Wisconsin freshman running back Braelon Allen put together a career performance today during the Badgers 35-7 win over the Northwestern Wildcats.
He finished the contest with a career-high 25 carries, career-high 3 touchdowns, 173 yards on the ground (so now six straight 100-yard games) and some SportsCenter Top 10-level explosive runs.
He seems to get better by the week, running more and more patient, explosive and decisive. The success of the offensive line has played a big role in the freshman’s emergence, though days like today also gave us numerous examples of how tough he is to bring down.
