Cam Newton is opening up about his release by the New England Patriots.

Heading into Week 1, the Patriots decided to release the veteran quarterback, naming rookie Mac Jones the team’s starting quarterback.

Newton recently gave a brutally honest admission on his release.

“Let me be honest with you… if they would’ve asked me, if they said, ‘Cam, we’re going to give the team to Mac, you’re going to be the second string. We expect you to be everything and some to help guide him through this tenure’ — I would’ve said, ‘Absolutely,’” Newton said in his latest YouTube video.

“The truth of the matter is, this — [Mac] would have been uncomfortable.”

The NFL world appreciates the honesty. However, fans are skeptical of the opinion.

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

Yet another report about Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers’ personality has emerged, and it’s quite interesting to say the least.

Earlier this month, Rodgers was labeled a “complicated fella” by Packers CEO Mark Murphy. It seemed like a harsh remark at the time, but Murphy isn’t the only person who feels that way.

On Wednesday, NFL insider Matt Lombardo shared some insight on Rodgers from an ex-NFL general manager’s perspective. The general manager who spoke to Lombardo didn’t want their identity revealed, but they had no issue discussing why they believe Rodgers is difficult to deal with.

“The guy’s selfish,” a former NFL general manager told Lombardo, via FanSided. “Teammates don’t like him. Coaches don’t like him. It’s all about Aaron. They all deal with him, because he’s a superstar. He helps guys make money and put food on the table for

After getting knocked out of the playoffs earlier this year, Aaron Rodgers admit that he wasn’t sure how much longer he’d be the starting quarterback of the Green Bay Packers. On Friday, the three-time MVP once again discussed his future with the franchise that drafted him.

During an appearance on ESPN’s SportsCenter, Rodgers was asked by Kenny Mayne if he wants to be a Packer for life. Rodgers’ answer pretty much lined up with what he said back in January.

“So far it has definitely been my team,” Rodgers told Mayne. “I said last year I didn’t know if that was actually possible to be able to finish there. I still feel like that’s kind of where we are at. I don’t know that a lot of that is in my hands. I guess we’ll just see

Draymond Green addressing the media.

Draymond Green has never been one to shy away from letting his true feelings on a subject be heard. That’s why it shouldn’t surprise NBA fans that the Golden State Warriors forward went on a rant for the ages following last night’s win over the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Cleveland announced a few days ago that it will sit Andre Drummond until it finds a trade partner. As a result, the talented center had to watch Monday night’s game from the sidelines.

While the Cavaliers are obviously trying to make sure that Drummond doesn’t get hurt, Green pointed out a clear double standard in the NBA.

“To watch Andre Drummond, before the game, sit on the sidelines, then go to the back, and to come out in street clothes because a team is going to trade him is bulls**t,” Green said. “Because when James Harden asked
