The Pittsburgh Steelers drafted Alabama RB Najee Harris in the first round in part because they believed he could be the next Derrick Henry. After this stiff arm from Harris, it looks like they may have been right on the money.

In the first half of today’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders, Harris took the ball up the right sideline and came face-to-face with a Raiders defender. That Raiders player quickly regretted trying to tackle Harris high.

Harris stuck out his left arm shoved the defender away like he was pushing over a rack of clothing. The defender was turned completely onto his back as Harris kept running with the ball.

Harris was eventually tackled and taken down. But not before a big gain.

Najee Harris was a dominating force at Alabama between 2019 and 2020. Last year he finished

Damien Harris shares insight on how Nick Saban prepared him for NFL

Damien Harris didn’t have a spectacular performance in Week 1 of the young NFL season, only mustering up 62 yards on 16 carries. He also recorded his first career fumble in his NFL debut.

This past Sunday against the Dolphins, however, he would not make the same mistake. Harris managed to reach the century mark for the first time, of many to come, in his short NFL career, rushing for 100 yards on 23 totes. While he couldn’t find the end zone, the impact he had was apparent in a 17-16 win for the New England Patriots.

In an interview with SportsCenter on ESPN, Harris was asked about how his time at Alabama prepared him for play at the next level, and here is what he had to say:

“100 percent, everybody knows that Coach Belichick and Coach Saban are pretty close, so they run their ships pretty much

UGA golf Alum Harris English wins in dramatic fashion

The Georgia golf program had a fantastic showing at the PGA Tour’s Travelers Championship this past week.

11 Bulldogs took the course at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Conn. After three rounds, former Georgia standout Bubba Watson held a share of the lead and seven other UGA products were in the top 30, including Kevin Kisner, Russel Henley and Harris English, who were all in the top-five headed into Sunday’s final round.

Watson held the lead for most of the afternoon before losing it to Harris English after a bogey on hole No. 14. English finished at 7-under 65 with the help of a huge birdie on No. 18 and headed to the clubhouse as the leader at 13-under.

English watched Texas alum Kramer Hickok battle back and finish with a share of the lead, which then forced a sudden-death playoff between Hickok and English and that’s where the fun

The Pittsburgh Steelers selected Najee Harris with the 24th overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. It’s rare for running backs to go in the first round, but the AFC North franchise is clearly very high on the former Alabama Crimson Tide standout.

Harris is already giving the Steelers reasons to be optimistic about the draft pick, too.

Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said he’s been very impressed with what he’s seen from Harris so far in rookie minicamp.

“He is a sharp guy,” Tomlin said of Harris, via Brooke Pryor of ESPN. “He is a football guy. You can tell he is passionate about football. He can articulate the game very well, so it’s a lot to be excited about.

“It is more noticeable simply because there’s not a lot of people to work with. He’s getting an opportunity to
