
Kevin Durant looked unstoppable in the first four minutes of the Brooklyn Nets game against the Miami Heat on Sunday afternoon, as he scored the first eight points for his team. But then he got hurt and was forced to miss the remainder of the contest with what the Nets announced as a left thigh contusion. Brooklyn went on to lose the game against the Heat, but the good news is that they won’t be without Durant for too long.
While speaking with media members on Wednesday, Nets coach Steve Nash said that Durant could return to game action as soon as this weekend. “He is day-to-day, so I think Friday or Sunday are very possible,” Nash said. “I’m not sure when it would be, or if it would be either of those games. He’s day-to-day. If he keeps progressing at this rate, I think Friday or Sunday
