Tom Brady: I’d Like to Do Overhand Toss of Lombardi Trophy If Bucs Win Super Bowl | Bleacher Report

Tom Brady has already played catch with the Lombardi Trophy, tossing it underhand to tight end Cameron Brate during the Tampa Bay Buccaneers boat parade following their Super Bowl title. 

But the great ones are always pushing themselves further, and Brady wants to evolve as well. So his New Year’s resolution this year very specifically involves the Lombardi Trophy.

“I do think what I’d like to do is complete an overhand toss with the Lombardi Trophy,” he told Jim Gray on his weekly Let’s Go podcast (h/t Joey Knight of the Tampa Bay Times.) “None of this Patrick Mahomes underhand throw that he always does. I’ve got to complete one overhand Lombardi Trophy toss in a boat parade. That would be a great way to get a new year started right.”

Knicks’ Kemba Walker on Christmas Triple-Double: ‘Those Are Moments You Dream About’ | Bleacher Report

The Kemba Walker revival is in full effect. 

After finding himself buried on the New York Knicks bench for nearly a month, Walker has been spectacular in his past four games, averaging 26.0 points, 8.3 rebounds and 7.0 assists during that span, including a triple-double (10 points, 10 rebounds, 12 assists) during a 101-87 win over the Atlanta Hawks on Christmas Day.

According to <a href=””>@ESPNStatsInfo</a>, Kemba Walker’s triple-double is just the 10th on Christmas in NBA history. Four were by Oscar Robertson in the 60s. The others: John Havlicek (’67), Billy Cunningham (’70), LeBron James (2010), Russell Westbrook (’13) and Draymond Green (’17).

Turns out that the third-grade teacher who promised her class some hot chocolate if she made a deep basket—and promptly sank the shot, in a video that has since gone viral—has some serious game.

As in, she’s former Rutgers basketball player Kathleen Fitzpatrick.
