We’re still collectively asking the same question today that we asked this time last year: Will Aaron Rodgers return to the Packers next season?

Until we hear something concrete from the reigning NFL MVP himself, we may not know. But ESPN NFL insider Jeff Darlington appears to know which way the winds are blowing.

Appearing on SportsCenter, Darlington said that the momentum is “decisively leaning toward Rodgers returning to Green Bay”. He highlighted the team’s decision to hire Tom Clements – one of Rodgers’ favorite coaches – as a big factor in the decision.

“Based on all of my conversations over the last several weeks, whether it’s close to the Packers organization or people close to Rodgers, this still feel like the momentum is decisively leaning toward Aaron Rodgers returning to Green Bay,” Darlington said. “This goes back to the

Aaron Donald, Sean McVay ramp up repeat talk at Rams’ Super Bowl parade

LOS ANGELES – Speculation over the possible retirement of Aaron Donald and Sean McVay seemingly faded Wednesday during the Los Angeles Rams’ public rally, which finished at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, in celebration of their Super Bowl 56 victory.

McVay, the Rams’ head coach, started chants of “run it back,’’ and then it was time to hear from the players.

Donald, the star defensive lineman who clinched the victory? Apparently ready to “run it back.’’

Rams outside linebacker Von Miller, a pending free agent? Count him in, too.

On the day of the Rams’ parade and rally, it was the central theme: Key members of the team that defeated the Cincinnati Bengals for the team’s first Super Bowl title in Los Angeles want to pursue back-to-back championships.

The Green Bay Packers are reportedly set on keeping Aaron Rodgers in 2022 and hopeful he wants to stay with the team moving forward.

ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler appeared Sunday on SportsCenter and updated the ongoing situation.

“I’m told the Packers brass has been adamant, both publicly and privately, that they want Aaron Rodgers back and that they’re all on the same page,” Fowler said. “GM Brian Gutekunst has expressed that to Rodgers. Head coach Matt LeFleur has expressed that to Rodgers. They’ve been out full front and in public about that, but also I’ve been told they’ve had some meetings with Rodgers, but it’s been, you know, not too intense yet.

“They’ve kind of recapped the season, maybe talk about the direction of the team, some of the pieces they like. But, nothing out of the ordinary that they wouldn’t do in a normal year. And so,

Aaron Rodgers doesn’t think he got COVID-19 at Halloween party

He just doesn’t want to acknowledge he might have been wrong

Aaron Rodgers is not interested in discussing his decision to attend a team Halloween party days before he tested positive for COVID-19.

Rodgers tested positive for the virus on Nov. 3, four days after he was at a party with a bunch of his teammates. His (admittedly very cool) John Wick costume did not include a face covering.

During his Wednesday press conference (which was conducted over Zoom because Rodgers doesn’t want to wear a mask at the podium), Green Bay Press-Gazette beat writer Ryan Wood asked Rodgers if he regretted going to the party.

“As you’re out and you’re reflecting, I’m curious if you had any regret for going to the Halloween party unmasked, given your vaccination status, and if you thought that might be where you contracted COVID,” Wood said.

Rodgers glided right past the question about
