NBA Twitter reacts to LeBron James handing Warriors another loss with 56 point performance

After a flurry of buckets from Jordan Poole in the first half against the Los Angeles Lakers, it looked like the Warriors were on the way to snapping their ugly three-game losing streak. However, no lead is safe with LeBron James looming.

As he heated up, James fueled a Lakers’ 14-point comeback in the second half against the Warriors. In the fourth quarter, James drilled three consecutive deep 3-pointers to set up the Lakers’ lead after a late run against the Warriors.

With each team trading clutch buckets down the final stretch, James found Carmelo Anthony in the corner for a dagger 3-pointer with just over 30 seconds remaining.

While Steph Curry tallied 30 points on his own, the eight-time All-Star guard got help off the bench with Poole and rookie Jonathan Kumunga combining for 41 points in the second unit. Yet, it wasn’t enough to answer James.

James notched a new Lakers career-scoring high with 56 points on 19-of-31 shooting from the field with 10 boards and three assists in 39 minutes. James caught fire from deep, hitting six triples on 11 attempts from beyond the arc.

Behind James, the Lakers extended the Warriors losing streak to a season-high four games. With their loss in Hollywood, the Warriors dropped to the No. 3 seed in the Western Conference behind the Memphis Grizzlies and Phoenix Suns.

After the Warriors dropped another loss, the NBA community on Twitter exploded with different reactions. Here’s a look at what fans and analysts were saying on Saturday night.
