Scott Van Pelt prediction for Louisiana, Texas Longhorns football
ESPN’s Scott Van Pelt picks the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns to cover the spread against the Texas Longhorns.
“Louisiana is plenty capable,” Van Pelt said. “They’re ranked. A lot of pressure on the Longhorns to start fast, and their opponents can make that a chore. I’m backing the fellas from the Sun Belt in Austin.”
Texas was a 9-point favorite based on where Van Pelt got his betting line for the game.
Van Pelt picked five college football games, and he picked the underdog to cover in all five games. The other four underdogs that Van Pelt went with this week are Virginia Tech, Penn State, UTSA, and Florida State.
