Details Have Emerge From Bryce Young’s Massive Deals
Alabama quarterback Bryce Young is all set to become a very rich man thanks to the NCAA’s new NIL rules. And the money is already pouring in.
According to ESPN’s Alex Scarborough, Young has already signed multiple deals worth a pretty penny. He’s reportedly earned upwards of $800,000 just from deals that he’s signed.
Per the report, Young has even more offers on the table that he has yet to agree on. If and when he signs those deals, he will become a millionaire.
Among Young’s current NIL sponsors are Cash App, Leaf, Wild Card and Onyx. Not bad for a guy who just turned 20 this past week.
But the biggest dollars are likely to come in the form of NFL contracts, which Bryce Young is no doubt striving for. He won’t get a better platform to get there than as the starting quarterback at Alabama.
As a true freshman in 2020, Young received only spot duty behind starter Mac Jones. He finished the year with 156 passing yards and a touchdown.
But with Jones off to the NFL, Young will take over as Alabama’s starter and likely hold the job down for the next two years. He takes over a team that just won a national championship with one of the greatest teams ever, so expectations will likely be even higher than they usually are.
Congrats on the new NIL deals Bryce! Don’t spend the money all in one place.
