Cleveland Browns vs. Green Bay Packers – NFL Week 16 (12/25/21) | Kickoff, How to Watch

Are you ready for some Christmas Day football?!

The NFL takes to the field on the lovely holiday with a pair of excting matchups, including a key game in the AFC playoff picture, as the Cleveland Browns look to keep their playoff hopes alive when they head to Lambeau Field to take on the Green Bay Packers.

The Browns come into Saturday just days removed from a heartbreaking loss at the hands of the Las Vegas Raiders. Despite missing quarterbacks Baker Mayfield and Case Keenum due to COVID, third-stringer Nick Mullens helped give the Browns a lead late in the game. However, a late drive by the Raiders, capped off by a Daniel Carlson field goal to Cleveland back to 7-7 with a 16-14 defeat.

The Browns are now last in the AFC North, as they are the lone team in the division not above the .500 mark.

The Packers also had a nail-biter over the weekend when they took on the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers tossed three touchdown passes, including two in the second half. The game down to the final minute, where the Ravens chose to go for the two-point conversion, and the win. Yet, Green Bay shut the door, picking up the win, and clinching the franchise’s 16th division title.

Saturday will only be the 21st meeting between the two historic franchises’ histories, with the Packers holding a 13-7 record against the Browns, and have won three-straight dating back to 2009.
