Southwestern Oregon Community College’s Athletic Department was awarded a $1,000 grant from the Countrywide Junior University Athletic Association Basis to aid in sustaining swimming and women’s wrestling at Southwestern.

The NJCAA Activity Option Grant was developed to aid the addition and advancement of two-12 months collegiate sports.

“The NJCAA Basis is psyched to more aid the progress of NJCAA member colleges and the activity plans they supply by way of the newly created NJCAA Sport Prospect Grant,” said Brian Luckett, NJCAA Basis government director. “The potential to provide this funding for the initial time at any time is a testament to the value and advancement of two-12 months collegiate athletics.
