Bruce Arians looks on at the Buccaneers’ 9-0 loss to New Orleans.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians didn’t consider a 9-0 loss and missed chance at a division title as the most painful parts of Sunday’s defeat.

“It hurts more losing all the players we lost,” Arians told the media on Sunday, Dec. 19, after a stunning shutout loss to the New Orleans Saints. “We lost about seven starters in this game, so I’m more concerned about that right now.”

Lakers star Anthony Davis out at least 1 month with MCL sprain from Timberwolves loss [Video]

Los Angeles Lakers star Anthony Davis will be out for at least a month after suffering an MCL sprain in his left knee, the team said Saturday.

Davis left Friday night’s loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves in the third quarter after his knee was rolled up on by Jaden McDaniels — which sent the two to the court while Davis grabbed his leg in pain.

He slowly walked off the court and into the tunnel toward the locker room after standing up, but collapsed in pain in the tunnel.

He finished with nine points and one rebound in 20 minutes in the Lakers’ 110-92 loss at the Target Center.

Davis underwent an MRI in Chicago on Saturday — ahead of the Lakers’ game against the Bulls on Sunday — which revealed the MCL sprain.

With his four-week timeline, Davis will likely miss at least 14 games. The Lakers are set

Anthony Davis leaves Lakers loss early with knee injury

Friday night was a tough one for Anthony Davis.

The Los Angeles Lakers star, after rolling his ankle early in the night at the Target Center, left L.A.’s 110-92 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves early after suffering a left knee contusion.

Then as he walked to the locker room, Davis collapsed in pain in the tunnel.

Anthony Davis leaves early with knee contusion

Davis caught a pass from LeBron James at the top of the key in the third quarter and immediately went to send it back to him.

As Davis made the pass back, Timberwolves forward Jaden McDaniels stumbled trying to defend James and fell directly into Davis’ left knee — which sent the pair to the court and Davis grabbing his leg.

Davis then walked slowly off the court to the locker room, which is when he fell in the tunnel.

The Lakers ruled Davis out of the

Mark Davis says postponing game vs Browns is ‘competitive disadvantage’ for Raiders

Understandably there are more than a few furious people today. Some are furious at the Browns, Rams, and Washington for their rash of positive COVID-19 cases. Some are furious with the NFL and NFLPA for what they see as going back on their words that they would not be re-scheduling those three games to Monday and Tuesday.

That goes for the fans, players, coaches, and otherwise. It’s a huge inconvenience if nothing else. Raiders owner Mark Davis says it puts the Raiders at a competitive disadvantage as he told ESPN’s Paul Gutierrez.

There is a lot here to unpack, so let’s do that.

Davis has a point about the short week situation. The Raiders were already preparing for a short week because the league had scheduled their game for Saturday. That doesn’t change, really. Now they just have to wait a few days to actually play that game.

What this
