Braves’ Ozzie Albies camera stare the latest entry into the pantheon of hilarious sports memes

Ozzie Albies is staring into your soul.

The Braves notched their first World Series since 1995 on Tuesday, polishing off an unreal season (really, from August onward), gaining momentum like a freight train and finishing off the Astros in Game 6 on Tuesday, 7-0.

For all the dominance the Braves have had since Aug. 1, they’ve had just as much fun on the field. Exhibit 1: Ozzie Albies.

Hammerin’ Atlanta Braves Win 1st World Series Crown Since 1995, Rout Houston Astros

HOUSTON (AP) — Most of the season, it just seemed this wasn’t their year.

They dropped their first four games, and soon injuries piled up. They lost their most dynamic player before the All-Star break. They were stuck below .500 in August.

Yet out of nowhere, suddenly, these Atlanta Braves transformed themselves and took off.

Jorge Soler, Freddie Freeman and the Braves breezed to their first World Series championship since 1995, hammering the Houston Astros 7-0 Tuesday night in Game 6.

How proud The Hammer himself would’ve been.

Max Fried threw six shutout innings in the signature pitching performance of the Series. Soler, a July acquisition who tested positive for COVID-19 in the playoffs, backed him early with a monster three-run shot for his third homer against the Astros.

Las Vegas Raiders Player to Be Charged With DUI in Fatal Crash

Last Vegas Raiders wide receiver Henry Ruggs III was involved in a car crash early Tuesday morning that killed one person and will lead to Ruggs being charged with DUI resulting in death, according to ESPN. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department officers “responded to a traffic collision near the intersection of South Rainbow Boulevard and South Spring Valley Parkway, involving a Chevrolet Corvette and a Toyota Rav4. Responding officers located the Toyota on fire. Fire department personnel responded and located a deceased woman inside the Toyota. The preliminary investigation indicates the front of the Chevrolet collided with the rear of the Toyota.”

Police went on to say, “The driver of the Chevrolet, identified as 22-year-old Henry Rugs (sic) III, remained on scene and showed signs of impairment. He was transported to UMC hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Ruggs will be charged with DUI resulting in death.
